Buying

ClassicTunes is sold by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, who handle payment, sales tax, receipts and refunds under Paddle's buyer terms.

Prices are in US dollars and don't include tax. Any sales tax, VAT or GST for where you live is added at checkout, before you pay.

Refunds

If ClassicTunes doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of buying it.

Your license

Your license is for your own personal use. You can use ClassicTunes on up to 2 Macs at a time. To move it to another Mac, deactivate it on one of them first (in ClassicTunes › License…), or remove a Mac you no longer have on the Manage Your Macs page. To prevent sharing, how often a license can be moved to new Macs is limited; if you reach the limit, contact us and we'll sort it out. Please don't share your license key.

About once a month, ClassicTunes checks online that its license is still active on that Mac. A Mac removed from a license, or one whose license was refunded, stops syncing after its next check.

A license includes free updates for all of version 1. If you're refunded, the license is canceled.

The free trial

You can try ClassicTunes free for 14 days, with every feature working. After that, syncing needs a license; your library, playback and everything already on your iPod stay usable.

Your iPod and your files

ClassicTunes is careful with your iPod and your music, and offers snapshots so you can put an iPod back as it was. Even so, keep a backup of anything you can't replace. ClassicTunes is provided as it is, without warranty, to the extent the law allows.
